I have 3/4 of 2017 to catch up on here.  Right.  It's February 13th, 2018 and I have 7 minutes until I have to go pick up the kids from school.  Obviously, it's been a busy year, not enough time to Blog... Highlights only:

Callum, Max and Simon did great in Baseball last year, though Callum felt a little challenged in his first year at AAA.

School ended, summer came and we did our usual Canada Day camping trip, to the US.  We headed down to Mt.Rainier this time but first stopped in at Seattle and brought our friends, Dave and Alyce Elton and their daughters, Elsa and Hattie, with us.

The boys had a summer full of day camps (in order to leave my days free to work on the house) and even went to their first over-night camp on Gambier Island, Camp Fircom.  Even Simon went for 2 nights!!  They are so brave and ended up enjoying it.

Callum spent a weekend in Whistler with his buddy Liam.

We went on a big Davis family backpacking trip to the HBC Heritage Trail.  Kids were troopers.  It was super smokey from all the wildfires that summer.

Then all 3 boys headed to Calgary to spend 2 weeks with my brother Todd's family.

While they were away, I turned 40.  Yes, 40 years old.  Jeff took me zip lining.

I picked up the boys from Calgary and we were reunited! Stopped in Canmore to visit my friend again.

I can't remember when, but at some point we went to a Canucks game.

This awesome photo shows how excited the boys were that summer was over and school started again.

I flew to Calgary for the weekend for Krista and Al's wedding!

Simon turned 6!

Random family hike.

Callum and Max are doing a Swim Skills through the Chena Swim club and even participated in a swim meet.

But Simon's true love is SOCCER.

 Halloween.

I am still the Cub Scout Leader for a group of 12 boys.  They sang songs at Christmas time for a Seniors Centre (see how excited they are??) .

Once the snow hit, we tried to get some time on the hills, but not a lot.

Max and Simon were there,  but Callum was the only one who was willing to sit with Santa.

And Christmas.

And that's a 7-minute summary of 2017.  If it ain't in a picture, I guess it don't get blogged. Needless to say, a lot more happened, particularly the fact that we are building a house... but that's a whole other 7 minutes (or so)!
