Ma' boyz.

Nearly three weeks have passed now, and life is beginning to resemble normalcy. My days seem to begin around 4 or 5am since Max doesn't like to go back to sleep after that feeding and then Callum has been getting up like clockwork at exactly 6am every day. This makes it pretty hard to get more than 4 or 5 hours of sleep at night, and that is with the help of a husband who stay up to do the 2am feeding for me. So, I am working hard at pretending to feel well rested and jolly, though some days I am better at pretending than others.

Jeff was adventurous today and took both our boys to climb the Stawamish Chief with my Dad - Max on Jeff and Callum on Dad. I am very curious to see how that turns out, but their intent was to leave me alone to sleep, and I already got 3.5 hours of beautiful slumber that have cheered me up.

Anyway, I do have the two most handsome boys ever - Max is opening his eyes a lot more now and I am optimistic that he will have Callum's gorgeous eyes (size and shape maybe, but color undetermined).

  1. They're definitely cute Ms. Kelli!

I'm glad you're getting a little catch up on some sleep. You deserve it!

I'll see you soonish! Can't wait to see how the trip with Jeff, your Dad and the kidlets went!
